^ Hideaway House located in Sedona, Arizona is my favorite place to dine in Sedona. With spectacular views of Sedonas signature Red Rock Canyons and delicious Italian cuisine who could go wrong! After raving on and on about this place my roommate Moira, and I stopped to grab lunch before hitting the town to do some spiritual shopping. We ordered the Garlic Cheese Bread Blossom as an appetizer and the Gluten Free Roasted Peach and Caramelized Pancetta. My favorite will always be the Roasted Peach and Carmelized Pancetta pizza, I highly recommend this dish! Side note, the patio is dog friendly and they are dog lovers!

^Earthbound Trading Co.  is my favorite shop in Sedona. This store has many unique spiritual items and gifts. In my eyes Earthbound Trading Company is a Spiritual Urban Outfitters. This hot spot is a must when traveling to Sedona.

^Tlaquepaque Arts & Craft Village is home to the most tourist filled Sedona hot spot! Tlaquepaque is the perfect spot to shop and explore. Many shoppes in this area offer exquisite art, and unique gifts. Keep in mind, this is a heavily populated tourist destination in Sedona.

Travel Guide| Dallas, Texas

Recently I had the opportunity to travel with my family out to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas to visit my older sister. After spending two weeks exploring the area, I picked out my top must see spots in Dallas Texas!

^The Spencer House| The Spencer House is a stunning Victorian house build in 1904. This house is located in the heart of Austin Ranch Apartments in Dallas, Texas and is rented out by room. The Spencer House is fully-furnished with antique furniture and offers two spacious living areas, a gorgeously appointed dining room, beautiful modern kitchen, Texas-sized porch complete with rocking chairs and an enclosed landscaped courtyard with pergola. There are four bedroom suites, all upstairs, each with its own bathroom, queen-sized bed with brand new mattress, Wi-Fi, A/C with in-room controls and TV.

The 100+ year old Spencer House was built by Benjamin Lafayette (Fate) Spencer in 1904, for his wife Annie and daughter Helen. It was located in the 500 block of Main Street, just west of downtown Lewisville. In 1970 the house was bought by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Goetz who then opened the Windmill Private School, which closed in 2002, and the house was put up for sale. In 2004, it was saved from demolition by The Billingsley Company and relocated to Austin Ranch for a fee of $180,000 and renovated to function as a modern guest house.

We stayed on the very top floor in the Spencer Suite. This Suite is by far the biggest and best! This large space features unique maple furniture, vaulted ceilings, panoramic views and two separate sitting areas – a reading nook and a dining nook. The claw-foot tub adds additional personality in the master bathroom.

^Whiskey Cake|Every time I travel to Dallas, Whiskey Cake is my first stop! The O.M.G. Burger is my favorite, along with their famous whiskey cake dessert. The service here is amazing, they will be sure you have everything needed to be happy. If you go on a weekend or at lunch time on a week day, expect to wait! We called in to make a “reservation” for lunch and were let disappointed when we had to wait an additional hour after our reservation time.

^Pecan Lodge|Food Network was not lying when they said Pecan Lodge has the best BBQ in Dallas! I ordered the ribs, brisket, and mac and cheese. The ribs were phenomenal! But I must warn you, if you go at lunch time you will be waiting in a Disney line for about a hour. Be sure not to arrive hangery because you will have to wait!
